Cupcakes with orange glaze - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


For muffins:

  • Butter, for greasing the pans
  • 240 g butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups premium wheat flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • The zest of two oranges

For the orange glaze:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Juice of two oranges

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease round baking pans with butter. mini cupcakes.
  2. Prepare muffins: Beat the butter and granulated sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs and continue beating for about 4 more minutes.

  3. Sift the flour and add it to the egg mixture, stirring until smooth. Don't over-mix the dough, or the muffins will be tough.
