This recipe is the easiest way to enjoy the fresh flavors of Greek cuisine. Turkey cutlets are sliced, pan-fried with spices, and served in pita bread with a quick tzatziki yogurt sauce. If you have leftover cutlets in the fridge, now you know what to do with them!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 4 turkey cutlets
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp. low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 lettuce leaves
  • 8 pitas with pockets (preferably thick and soft)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Break the turkey cutlets into small pieces and place them in the skillet. Add the allspice, cumin, and oregano and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the pieces are heated through.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the yogurt, cucumber, and garlic powder. Mix well. Place a piece of lettuce on the pita. Place the turkey on the lettuce leaves and drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
