The batter for this recipe is mixed in one bowl, so you don't have to mix dry and wet ingredients separately. The real highlight of this brownie is its topping. You can bake the same base every time, but change the topping combination, and your dessert will look fresh every time. Below are a few good combinations, but feel free to add any ingredients your family loves.

Recipes with similar ingredients: premium flour, eggs, chocolate chips (granules)
Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9 x 13-inch baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder all at once and mix until smooth. Fold in half of the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan and are set in the center, 30–35 minutes. Immediately sprinkle with the remaining chocolate and let stand until melted, about 5 minutes. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate evenly over the brownies.
- Let the chocolate cool for about 10 minutes, then sprinkle with any toppings you like, gently pressing them into the chocolate to adhere. Remove the brownies from the pan by pulling the edges of the foil and let them cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
- Topping options:
White chocolate chips and toasted chopped walnuts
Cashews and dried cranberries
Crushed pretzels and raisins
Toasted coconut flakes and chopped dried pineapple
Any combination of chopped dried fruit, toasted nuts, mini marshmallows, crushed graham crackers, or candy pieces
