Almond Butter - Basic Recipe

How to Make - Almond Butter - Basic Recipe
Time: 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 6

Almond butter contains more fiber and less saturated fat than peanut butter, and it's quite easy to make at home. This basic recipe includes roasted almonds, a little vegetable oil for a smoother consistency, and a pinch of salt for a rich flavor, but you can add a little honey or sugar if you'd like to sweeten it. The prepared almond butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Spread it on toast or fruit for a healthy snack, or eat it plain with a spoon, enjoying the nutty flavor.
