While most donuts are deep-fried, these quick-cook donuts are baked in the oven. Ina Garten adds an extra cup of milk to ensure the finished product is super moist. She also tops each donut with a buttery cinnamon-sugar glaze, making them even more perfect.

Ingredients for the recipe:
For the donuts:
- Cooking spray with flour
- 2 cups premium wheat flour
- 1.5 cups of sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 very large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 and 1/4 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 2 tsp natural vanilla extract
For the glaze:
- 8 tbsp (110 g) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 180C. Spray two donut pans generously with baking powder.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon the batter into the pan, filling each pan 3/4 full. Bake for 17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes, then shake out. donuts on a baking sheet.
