An easy-to-make and impressive Halloween appetizer that will please all your guests. Eyeballs are juicy beef meatballs with olive pupils. Simmer them in a sweet and sour red sauce to create a bloody glaze, and serve on a platter with skewers.

1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g of ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup simple breadcrumbs
  • Sliced ​​green olives with pimento pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup apricot jelly
  • 1 cup chili sauce

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Using a fork or clean hands, gently mix the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Form into 2.5 cm balls. Press a green olive ring into each ball to create pupils.
