Butter, brown sugar, and warm baking spices transform dark rum into a cozy autumn cocktail for chilly evenings. We recommend serving each mug of the hot drink with a cinnamon stick for stirring and further infusing the flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 4 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 3 cups of sugar-free pineapple juice
  • 120 ml dark rum
  • 4 cinnamon sticks

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a small bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg until smooth.

  3. Pour the rum into four mugs. Pour the pineapple juice into the mugs. Place a cinnamon stick in each mug and serve.
