Satay is a dish of Indonesian and Malaysian cuisine. It's a miniature version of Thai kebabs, made from virtually any type of meat, poultry, offal, seafood, and many other ingredients. This version of satay is made with pork and various sauces and seasonings, which add a richer and more refined flavor.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Marinade
- 1.5 cups coconut milk
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2 chilli peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 700 g pork tenderloin, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
- Wooden skewers
Sauce
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 finely chopped red chili pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1.5 cups coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup peanut butter with chopped nuts
- 1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
Prepare the marinade:
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl, add pork and leave to marinate for 2-4 hours.Prepare the sauce:
Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion, garlic, and chili. Sauté for about 4 minutes. Mix in the soy sauce, lime juice, coconut milk, coriander, and cumin. Stir in the peanut butter thoroughly. Bring the sauce to a simmer over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the cilantro and remove from heat.Preheat the grill.
Remove the pork from the marinade and thread onto skewers. Grill for 7-8 minutes, until cooked through. Serve with the sauce.
