A great idea for a simple and creative Halloween snack. For the spiders, you'll need salted straws and melted chocolate and peanut butter. Together, these ingredients create an interesting flavor combination of sweet with a salty twist. Break the straws into longer pieces for the spider's legs and shorter ones for the body. Dip the straws in the chocolate mixture and arrange the spiders on a baking sheet. Once the chocolate has set, they can be served as a snack instead of cookies or used to decorate cakes and pastries with a theme.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 340 g dark chocolate granules
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 tbsp. salted pretzel straws

  4. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes or until the chocolate has set. Place the spiders on any treat.
