Sea Glass Candies

One of children's favorite pastimes at the beach is searching for sea-worn bottle glass, sparkling like treasure among the gray pebbles. Why not make sea glass-shaped lollipops? They'll be a hit with both kids and adults, and they look like real sea treasures. To make them, you'll need blue and green lollipops, which are crushed, melted, and then re-solidified into a large sheet of glass. Break it into small pieces. The candies will look exactly like sea glass. You can put them in small bags, tie them with a ribbon, and give them to children.

These sea glass candies are edible! To make them, crush 1 cup of blue candy and microwave in 30-second intervals until melted. Be careful, the melted candies will become very hot.Immediately pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it set for 15 minutes. Repeat with the green candies and the blue and green candy mixture. Remove from the parchment and dust the candy with powdered sugar, then break into pieces.
