This dessert is made only with natural ingredients and contains no refined sugar. The base of these candies is dried dates. They're quite sweet on their own and have a slight caramel flavor. Grind them in a blender along with almonds, adding a pinch of cinnamon for a richer flavor and coarse salt to further enhance the sweetness of the dried fruit. Form the resulting mixture into balls, which are then rolled in coconut flakes. Treat your family and friends to these healthy, handmade candies.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1.5 tbsp. sugar-free coconut flakes
  • 100 g dried pitted dates (about 14 pcs.)
  • 15 small raw almonds
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of coarse salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the coconut flakes on a plate. Place the dates, almonds, cinnamon, and salt in a food processor and pulse until pureed.
