Homemade bourbon chocolates are easy to make and keep well in the refrigerator—a perfect treat for adults with a glass of cognac or a cup of coffee! These chocolates are made with chocolate wafer cookies, melted dark chocolate, and condensed milk. Dried figs, a touch of bourbon, and natural vanilla extract give the chocolate a rich, multifaceted flavor. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then roll into balls. Roll them in sugar and enjoy!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Pour about 2.5 cm of water into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Place the chocolate in a medium heatproof bowl. Place the bowl over the saucepan (the bottom should not touch the water). Melt the chocolate, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat.
- Meanwhile, place the cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely ground (you should have about 1.5 cups of crumbs). Fold the cookie crumbs into the chocolate. Add the figs, powdered sugar, bourbon, condensed milk, and vanilla extract and process until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate until firm enough to form into balls, about 45 minutes. Place granulated sugar in a shallow bowl.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a smooth ball, then roll it in granulated sugar. Serve the candies at room temperature. Store the candies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 1 month..
