This salad combines flavors typical of Caribbean cuisine: the sweet juiciness of fruit, fragrant spices, and the fiery heat of Caribbean Scotch Bonnet peppers. Fragrant cantaloupe melon and cucumber are sliced and tossed with spices, a zesty dressing, and cherries, which add a contrasting tartness. The salad is very juicy and pairs perfectly with meat or chicken.
