Caesar salad lovers will love this heartier version. Tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and fried shrimp are tossed with pasta in a homemade Caesar dressing. Serve as an appetizer or a full-fledged main course.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 tbsp. grated parmesan
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp finely grated garlic
- 200 g dry penne pasta (feathers)
- 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1.5 tbsp. shredded romaine lettuce
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large saucepan, bring salted water to a boil.
- In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
- Add the pasta to boiling water and cook according to package directions. Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water to cool. Transfer to a large bowl with the dressing.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat the oil until shimmering. Add the shrimp, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and season with pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside to cool.
- Add the fried shrimp, romaine lettuce, celery, and tomatoes to the bowl and toss. Season with salt and pepper to taste. The pasta salad is best served immediately.
