Thanks to your air fryer, crispy salted pumpkin seeds will be ready in just 30 minutes from the moment you remove them from the pumpkin. They're delicious on their own, but also pair well with any seasoning. For extra flavor, sprinkle them with your favorite spices just before frying. Be sure to check the bottom of the air fryer for any fallen seeds.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 medium pumpkin (about 4 kg, about 1 cup pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 6 liters.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Cut a 25cm (10 in) circle out of the top of the pumpkin and remove the top. Using a large spoon, scrape the seeds into a bowl. Separate the seeds from the stringy pulp, then rinse them in a colander under cold water. Shake off any excess water, but do not pat the seeds dry with paper towels (they will stick to the paper).

  3. Combine pumpkin seeds, olive oil, and salt in a clean bowl. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until light golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let the seeds cool.
