Canned chickpeas make a great snack in the air fryer: delicious, crunchy, healthy, and packed with protein. Even if you're on a diet, this snack is definitely healthy. You'll need just one tablespoon of olive oil per can of chickpeas. Fry them until golden brown and immediately toss with ranch dressing. Feel free to experiment with other seasonings to suit your taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (425g) canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Fine sea salt
  • 4 tsp ranch dressing seasonings
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat a 6-liter air fryer to 175°C.
  • Step 2
  • Toss the chickpeas with olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Spread them in an even layer in the air fryer and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crisp, 20-22 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • Transfer the hot chickpeas to a bowl and toss with the ranch dressing.
