This homemade ranch dressing is made only with plain yogurt, no mayonnaise, and is light and healthy. The dried herbs included in the recipe mean you can make it anytime. Serve this yogurt ranch dressing as an appetizer with fresh vegetables or grilled chicken, or use it as a salad dressing.

  • Ranch seasoning, recipe below

Ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Combine yogurt and ranch dressing in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
  • Step 2
  • Serve as a dipping sauce with vegetables or any of your dishes!

    Ranch seasoning:

    In a small jar, combine the parsley, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, thyme, sugar, and a pinch of black pepper. Close the lid and shake to combine.
