The generous amount of cilantro gives this yogurt dip a delicate green color, a fantastic aroma, and a vibrant flavor, spiced with cardamom, spicy jalapeño, and tangy cumin. The sauce pairs beautifully with both fried flatbreads and sliced ​​fresh vegetables. Arrange them around the bowl of sauce and serve.


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups tightly packed fresh cilantro, plus extra for serving
  • 3/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 jalapeño (remove seeds to reduce heat)
  • Juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1.5 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (optional)
  • For serving: fried flatbreads and/or chopped vegetables
