A perfect homemade dessert for when you just want a cake, but without the hassle of layers, frosting, and frosting. Bake a cake "in a pot," or more precisely, in a loaf pan, coat it with a thick layer of soft chocolate glaze, and eat it straight from the pan with spoons!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Position a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Cake:
Sift together the flour and cornstarch. In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, butter, sugar, and egg until smooth, 1-2 minutes. In a small pitcher or another bowl, combine the buttermilk, vanilla extract, baking soda, and baking powder. Add to the bowl and stir. - Add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture in two batches and knead until smooth and lump-free. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until a tester inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, 35-40 minutes. Set aside while you prepare the glaze.
- Chocolate glaze:
Combine the milk, chocolate, and butter in a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth, about 3 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the still-warm cake and serve immediately, spooning directly from the pan.
