Agua fresca is a type of Mexican soft drink. Unlike juices, agua fresca is primarily made with fresh water, flavored with various fruits, flowers, and syrups. Made with cucumbers, lime juice, and mint, this drink offers the ultimate in refreshing and invigorating flavor in a single glass. All ingredients are blended with water, strained, and served very chilled. Garnish each serving with lime wedges and thin slices of cucumber and enjoy.

Recipe:


Blend 2 cups of chopped, peeled cucumbers, the juice of 1 lime, 2 tablespoons of agave syrup, 0.5 cups of mint, and 1 cup of water. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then strain, pressing down on the solid mixture. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with cucumber and lime slices.
