A dressing of honey and chopped fresh mint turns this salad into a healthy fruity dessert you'll want to eat again and again. White and red grapefruit are used for this salad, adding interest. Carefully remove all the membranes from the segments, ensuring the grapefruit doesn't taste bitter, and the salad will captivate you with its juiciness and amazing aroma.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 white grapefruits
  • 2 red grapefruits
  • 2 tablespoons clover honey
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mint

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Divide the grapefruits into segments:


    Cut off the top and bottom of each grapefruit, stand the fruit on its cut side, and trim away the rind, white pith, and some of the orange pith. Working over a bowl and holding the fruit in one hand, run a small knife between each segment and the membrane to loosen the segments. Collect them in a bowl. Squeeze the membranes over the bowl to extract as much juice as possible and discard. Place a sieve over a large liquid measuring cup and drain the grapefruit segments. Collect 1 cup of juice.
  2. Stir honey and mint into grapefruit juice. Arrange grapefruit wedges on a platter or in a shallow bowl and drizzle with the dressing.
