Cardea Brown makes a simple syrup from freshly squeezed orange juice and honey and uses it to transform regular seltzer water into delicious lemonade. The sweet and refreshing drink is far superior to any cocktail and is perfect for summer.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 700 ml seltzer water, chilled
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice + 4 strips orange zest (without white pulp)
  • 0.5 cups honey
  • Orange slices for garnish

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Fill four 350 ml glasses with ice. Pour the orange-honey syrup (see below) into the glasses, then top with seltzer water. Stir and garnish with orange slices.
  2. Orange-honey syrup:

    Combine orange juice, orange zest, and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot and the honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
