This sandwich is made with a bing-style flatbread, which is actually made with regular refrigerated pizza dough. The rolled-out dough is sprinkled with sesame seeds and pan-fried until golden brown. Slice the plump flatbread in half horizontally and fill it with roast beef sautéed with sesame seeds, ginger, and green onions. Add a tangy coleslaw, and you've got a big, filling sandwich for four.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 450 g chilled pizza dough (fresh)
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil + extra for greasing
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 cups shredded coleslaw mix
  • 1 tbsp. l. rice vinegar
  • 1/4 - 0.5 tsp vegetable oil with chili pepper
  • 170 g thin slices of roast beef
  • 1 tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 tsp grated peeled ginger
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro

We recommend

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Microwave the pizza dough at 50% power until softened, 1-2 minutes, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Grease a large plate with vegetable oil; shape the dough into a 22 cm (9.5 in) circle and place it on the plate. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  2. In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, vinegar, chili oil, and salt to taste. In another bowl, combine the roast beef, sesame oil, green onions, and ginger.

  3. Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Line the pan with the sesame seeds and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds. Cover and cook, shaking the pan occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side, turning the pancake with tongs. Transfer to paper towels, season with salt, and let cool.
  4. Wipe out the skillet and place over high heat. Add the roast beef and cook, stirring, until crisp, 1-2 minutes. Cut the tortilla in half horizontally. Layer the beef, coleslaw, and cilantro on the bottom half. Top with the top half and cut into 4 triangles.
