Make a light and airy dessert with whipped cream and strawberries, and add a refreshing citrusy note with an orange liqueur, such as Triple Sec or Grand Marnier. For a beautiful presentation, divide the ful into clear bowls or glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g fresh strawberries, hulled and diced (about 3 cups)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. l. orange liqueur
  • 1 cup chilled heavy cream

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine 2 cups of strawberries and 0.5 cups of sugar in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until the juices thicken. Set aside and let cool, then refrigerate the jam for about 1 hour. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of strawberries.
  2. In a medium, clean, cold bowl, whip the cream with the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar and the liqueur until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
