Enjoy two popular pastries—cheesecake and brownie—in one impressive dessert that's easy to make and looks incredibly festive. The bottom layer—the brownie layer—is baked with a ready-made baking mix, resulting in a soft and richly chocolatey texture. Nuts can be added to the batter if desired. Top it with a layer of cheesecake, which is then garnished with strawberry jam.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 package (560 g) of dry brownie mix
  • 0.5 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 large eggs, separate the whites from the yolks
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 packages of 220g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (400 g) of condensed milk with sugar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup seedless strawberry jam

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch (22 x 32 cm) pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and 2 eggs; stir with a spoon 50 times. Add nuts, if desired. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually whisk in the condensed milk. Whisk in the remaining 2 eggs, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated. Spread the mixture evenly over the warm brownie.

  3. Stir the jam until smooth. Spoon a teaspoon of jam over the top of the cheesecake. Gently run a knife through the jam, creating a marbled pattern. Bake for another 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let the dessert cool for 1 hour. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut the dessert into bars.
