A light and flavorful pie filled with juicy seasonal strawberries, served with honeyed whipped cream. The fresh berries not only serve as decoration, but are also added to the center to create a pleasantly moist pastry, with the strawberry flavor evident in every bite.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp. + 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 0.5 cups low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter, let cool slightly
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups premium flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 450 g strawberries, hulled (half thinly sliced, half cut in half)
  • Honey whipped cream, for serving
  • Special equipment: springform pan with a diameter of 22 cm.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (190°C). Spray a baking pan with cooking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the eggs in a medium bowl with 1/2 cup sugar and beat on high speed with a hand mixer until pale and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Add the yogurt, melted butter, and vanilla extract; beat for another minute. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt; mix until smooth, about 30 seconds.

  3. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly to the edges. Top with sliced ​​berries. Pour the remaining batter over the berries and spread it evenly again. Arrange the strawberry halves on top and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  4. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 45 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack. Serve with honey whipped cream.

    Honey whipped cream:
    To make honey whipped cream, whip 1 cup heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add honey to taste (about 2 tablespoons).
