A mixture of honey and spices like paprika, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper will give beef ribs a wonderfully savory-sweet barbecue flavor, even if you bake them in the oven. The ribs are juicy and deliciously sticky, with the meat literally falling off the bone. Perfect with beer!

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1/4 cup sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2.7 kg beef short ribs (about 8 ribs with bones, cut into 12-15 cm strips)
- 0.5 cups honey

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, onion powder, 4 tablespoons of salt, oregano, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and a few grinds of black pepper. Rub the mixture over the ribs and let them rest at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
- Place the ribs tightly in a baking dish, fat side up. Cover the dish tightly with foil and place another heavy dish on top to ensure a tight seal! Bake in the oven for 2.5 hours, or until the meat is falling off the bone. Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 220°C.
- Using tongs, flip the ribs over and move them slightly. Drizzle evenly with honey. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered this time, and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
