Recipes with similar ingredients: turnip, balsamic vinegar, green onions

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Place the turnips in a single layer in a large, lidded skillet. Add enough water to cover halfway, then add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cover.
  2. Simmer until the turnips are tender, 8-10 minutes. Remove the lid, increase the heat to high, and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has almost completely evaporated and the turnips are shiny. Remove from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of green onions, season with salt and pepper to taste.
