To ensure evenly roasted Brussels sprouts that are tender on the inside and lightly golden on the outside, choose heads of similar size. Preheat them in the microwave to make skewering easier, then toss them with a herb blend of olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, mustard, and black pepper before grilling. This will infuse the vegetables with a multifaceted flavor. Cooking time will vary slightly depending on the size of the sprouts. Grilled Brussels sprouts look very impressive and delicious on skewers. Serve them as an appetizer or a vegetable side dish with meat.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellowed outer leaves. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 3 minutes. Add the olive oil, garlic, mustard, paprika, and salt and toss to coat. Let the sprouts cool enough to handle. Thread 4-5 Brussels sprouts onto each metal skewer, stem ends facing the same direction, leaving about 1 cm between each sprout.
- Place the skewers on the grill, stems facing the flame. Cover and grill for 5 minutes. Turn the skewers over and continue grilling for another 5 minutes. Serve the cabbage directly on the skewers, or for extra flavor, remove it from the skewers, place it in the first bowl, and toss with the remaining oil and garlic mixture. Serve.
Note
To ensure even cooking of the cabbage, it is important that all heads of cabbage are approximately the same size and shape.
