The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Refueling

  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
  • Coarse salt and ground black pepper

Salad

  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 8 inner celery stalks with leaves (from 1 bunch), thinly sliced
  • Toasted slices of crispy bread for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Refueling:

    In a medium bowl, combine the apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to taste. Stir in the olive oil and ginger. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
  2. Place the tomatoes in a bowl and season with salt. Use scissors to trim the basil leaves. Toss the tomatoes with the dressing. Spoon the tomato, celery, and ginger salad onto the grilled bread.
