Prepare delicious and mouth-watering grilled broccoli by marinating it first. This unusual cooking method gives the broccoli a rich, vibrant flavor that will impress everyone. The florets are first blanched to reduce cooking time, then marinated for half an hour in a blend of olive oil, wine vinegar, garlic, and meat seasoning. Grilled broccoli can be served as a side dish with any meat or fish, or used as an ingredient in delicious salads.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 large heads of broccoli, split lengthwise
  • 0.5 cups olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp. dry marinade
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large saucepan, fill with water, add salt, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and blanch until bright green, then transfer to a large bowl of ice water to quickly stop the cooking. Drain and pat dry with paper towels. Place the broccoli in a large zip-lock plastic bag.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, red pepper flakes, dry rub, white wine vinegar, salt, black pepper, and garlic. Pour the mixture over the broccoli and seal the bag. Let marinate for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  4. Remove the broccoli from the bag, letting any excess marinade drip back into the bag. Place the florets on the grill and grill until lightly tender and golden brown, about 4 minutes. Transfer the broccoli from the grill to a serving platter and serve.
