Decorate a children's party or your own Halloween party with these adorable edible chocolate-covered fig mice. Firm black figs work best for molding them. Dip them in microwave-melted dark chocolate, and while they're still warm, attach tails made of licorice twine, ears made of sliced almonds, and eyes made of fine orange sprinkles. After the mice have set in the refrigerator, arrange them on the table among other treats or use them to decorate cheese platters.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring, until completely melted. Let cool slightly.
- Dip the figs in melted chocolate, coating them completely; remove with a fork and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using the remaining melted chocolate, glue a licorice rope to the rounded side of each fig to create tails.
- While the chocolate is still wet, attach 2 almond slices to the pointed end of each fig to create ears, then press on 2 orange balls for eyes. Refrigerate the mice for at least 20 minutes before serving.
