This tropical fruit salad lifts the spirits with its vibrant summer appearance, intoxicating aroma, and unique flavor. This luxurious combination of strawberries, kiwi, mango, orange, pineapple, and papaya makes a wonderful dessert after a festive dinner. Dressed with a ginger syrup with hints of lime, this sweet fruit salad achieves a balanced flavor with just the right amount of spice. Let it sit in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld, and serve garnished with a handful of fresh mint leaves.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 7.5 cm ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved or quartered
  • 2 kiwis, peeled, sliced ​​into rounds and then quartered
  • 1 mango, cut into pieces
  • 1 orange, divided into segments
  • 1 small pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 1 papaya, cut into pieces
  • A handful of fresh mint, chopped

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine sugar, 1/4 cup water, ginger, and lime zest in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and refrigerate until completely cool.
  2. Strain the syrup into a large bowl and toss in the strawberries, kiwi, mango, oranges, pineapple, and papaya. Stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate until completely chilled, at least 1 hour.
