This hot spinach cheese dip is the perfect appetizer for a house party or while watching a game together. Its superb flavor comes from three types of cheese—cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan—the spices, and the delicious combination of spinach and artichokes. Arrange crackers or tortilla chips on a serving tray for dipping and serve straight from the oven.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1.5 cups chopped canned artichoke hearts
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 220 g of cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp. grated mozzarella
  • 0.5 tbsp. grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Bread or tortilla chips, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Mix the spinach, artichokes, tomatoes, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, pepper, and sea salt by hand in a large bowl until smooth. Transfer to an 8x11 inch baking dish, pressing into an even layer.

  3. Bake until the sauce is bubbling and browned around the edges, about 15 minutes. Serve with bread or tortilla chips.
