Grated cheese and finely chopped ham are mixed directly into the dough for these flaky biscuits. Serve warm, cut in half and spread with butter mixed with honey and grainy mustard. Eat plain or use in sandwiches.

Ingredients for the recipe:
Biscuits
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 1/3 cup mixture of grated Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
- 3 slices of ham, cut into pieces
- 3 tablespoons salted butter, slightly frozen
- 1 cup of sour milk or kefir
- Premium flour for working with dough
- Cooking spray to spray pan, optional
Butter
- 110 g softened butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tbsp. grainy mustard
- Blackberry or raspberry jam, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- BunsPlace the self-raising flour in a large bowl and stir in the cheese and ham. Add the butter and rub in.
- Pour in the sour milk and gently stir with a wooden spoon. Once the dough is smooth, turn it out onto a floured surface, divide it into 8 equal balls, and press lightly.
- Place the balls in a cast-iron pan or on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
- ButterIn a bowl, mix the butter with honey and mustard. When the buns are done, brush the tops with a little butter. Serve with the remaining butter and jam.
