This vibrant salad will remind you of sunny summer, even if it's chilly outside. Choose sunny-colored vegetables: red and yellow tomatoes, bell peppers, and corn. Dress the pasta and vegetables with the "sunny dressing" and enjoy!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Solar refueling

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Dijon mustard

Lemon zest

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp grated garlic
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper

Salad

  • 450 g penne pasta (feathers)
  • 4 cups red grape tomatoes, halved
  • 4 cups yellow grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 orange bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • One can (450g) banana peppers, drained and thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced ​​for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Solar refueling:

    In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, salt and black pepper and mix until smooth.
  2. Salad:

    Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Let it dry slightly to allow the dressing to adhere well.
