How to treat a large group to a premium steak without breaking the bank? Make it into bite-sized cubes, sauté in spices, and serve as an appetizer with a dipping sauce and skewers or toothpicks for piercing. Pair this tender beef with a piquant creamy sauce made with horseradish and blue cheese.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 900 g ribeye steak, diced
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted, + 2 tablespoons for sauce
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Combine the steak, melted butter, and steak seasoning in a bowl. Add to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes. Transfer the steak pieces to a plate and let rest. Return the skillet to the heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan. Add rosemary, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 1 minute, until the garlic is heated through. Add the cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, then add the blue cheese, horseradish, 1 tablespoon of chives, and black pepper to taste. Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl.

  3. Place the steak pieces on a platter, arrange toothpicks nearby, and set a bowl of sauce on top. Sprinkle with the remaining chives before serving.
