Fresh blueberries and lemon infuse this iced tea with a wonderful fruity flavor and vitamins, while thyme adds a fragrant aroma. Let the tea steep for a few hours in the refrigerator and serve over ice as a refreshing summer drink.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 8-10 fresh sprigs of thyme
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 cold brew tea bags
  • Sugar, honey or any other sweetener

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place blueberries, thyme, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Mash until the blueberries are pureed and the lemon and thyme flavors are released.
  2. Add tea bags and 6 cups of water. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, stirring every hour.

  3. Strain the tea through a sieve lined with a damp coffee filter or damp paper towels. Add sweetener to taste and serve over ice.
