Start your day with a healthy, filling, and delicious smoothie made with frozen banana and sugar-free coconut flakes, blended together. Just one date will infuse the drink with natural sweetness and essential micronutrients, while also imparting a warm caramel flavor. For a multifaceted flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg, while coconut water will dilute the ingredients so the smoothie is easy to sip through a straw.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 pitted date
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon + extra for sprinkling
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup coconut water
