Oatmeal in the morning may seem boring to some, but there are so many ways to customize it. Below is a basic recipe made with milk and plain yogurt. You can use this as a base and add your favorite toppings and condiments, as well as any sweeteners of your choice (brown sugar, maple syrup, honey). This no-cook porridge requires no cooking: just mix everything in a jar the night before and refrigerate. The oatmeal will be ready in the morning, and all that's left is to add the toppings. Several filling and topping ideas are included at the end of the recipe. This jar of oatmeal is convenient for taking on-the-go breakfast later at work.
