This chocolate banana oatmeal is more suitable for dessert than a full breakfast, or even just for breakfast. It's rich with a wonderful combination of chocolate, bananas, walnuts, and almonds. The bananas, cocoa, and almonds are simmered in milk along with the oats. The finished porridge is then topped with the remaining ingredients. You can drizzle with honey, but the sweetness of this oatmeal will depend on the ripeness of the bananas. Overripe bananas will make it too sweet even without additional sweeteners.
