Make a mix of walnuts, pistachios, and dried cranberries, infused with aromatic spices: cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon, which will dominate this aromatic bouquet, adding a sweet note to the snack. A great idea for a delicious and healthy snack!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 0.5 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Vegetable oil for greasing
  • Protein of 1 large egg
  • 2 cups raw unsalted walnuts
  • 2 cups raw unsalted pistachios
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons salt, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 175°C and lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil.

  3. Whisk the egg whites in a large bowl until foamy. Add the walnuts and pistachios. Sprinkle with the prepared spice mixture and toss to coat the nuts. Spread the nut mixture evenly on a baking sheet and bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 15-20 minutes; let cool on the baking sheet. Add the cranberries to the nut mixture and toss to coat.
