These soft, aromatic pretzels are infused with the flavors of both pizza and traditional pretzels—all in one! They're easy to make with store-bought pizza dough. Oregano and Parmesan add an Italian twist, and for that signature pretzel flavor, each dough ball is dipped in hot baking soda and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Serve with Italian marinara sauce.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Cut the pizza dough widthwise into 8 strips. Roll each piece into a 45 cm long rope. Form the rope into a pretzel shape, twisting the ends together in the center. Repeat with the remaining dough strips.
- In a large bowl, mix baking soda with 2 cups of hot water. Using a slotted spatula, lower the pretzel into the mixture and remove it. Place the pretzel on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining pretzels.
- In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan, oregano, sesame seeds, garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes. Sprinkle the mixture generously over the pretzels.
- Bake until golden brown, 18–20 minutes. Sprinkle the pretzels with Parmesan cheese and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
