1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 Salad Set with Blue Cheese Dressing and Bacon (350g)
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 pinches red pepper flakes
  • 2 boneless strip steaks (1-2 cm thick; weighing 170-200 g each)
  • 2 sub sandwich buns, cut in half and toasted
  • Half a small red onion, sliced ​​into rings
  • 1 tomato, sliced ​​into rounds

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place the contents of the salad dressing in a medium bowl and toss to coat with the dressing; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Combine 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.

  3. Sprinkle the steaks with salt on both sides and sprinkle with the pepper mixture, pressing firmly to adhere. Place the steaks in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until medium-rare. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain.
  4. Place the steaks on the buns and top with lettuce, red onion and tomatoes.
