The game is starting and you forgot to prepare the appetizers? This cheese ball is ready in minutes and tastes just like pepperoni pizza. Simply blend all the ingredients except the toppings in a food processor, spoon the cheese mixture onto a plate, shape it into a ball, and top with pepperoni slices to resemble a soccer ball. Top with a puddle of tomato sauce and enjoy, spooning pita chips into the dip. All the flavors of your favorite pizza in a unique soccer ball shape!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 600 gr. grated mozzarella
  • 450 g cream cheese, softened
  • 7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 170 g tomato sauce
  • 110 g thin slices of pepperoni
  • Lightly toast the pita bread, cut into triangles

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients except the tomato sauce, pepperoni, and pita bread, scraping down the sides of the bowl to combine evenly.
  2. Shape the cheese mixture into the desired shape. Make several indentations on the top.

  3. Pour tomato sauce into the cavities. Cover the entire surface of the cheese ball with pepperoni slices. Serve with pita bread.
