Cheese dip "Charleston"

How to Make Charleston Cheese Dip
Kitchen:American,
Time: 25 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 10 - 12

This thick, cheesy dip is one of those appetizers that people reach for first at parties. It's no wonder: who can resist a gooey cheese sauce topped with a super-crisp crust of crushed crackers and delicious bits of fried bacon?! The dip's base is made with creamy cream cheese and mayonnaise, complemented by sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. All the dip ingredients are mixed together, then sprinkled with crushed crackers, and the dip is baked until the cheese is heated through and gooey, and the topping is golden brown. Serve with chips, crackers, and croutons for dipping.
