This deliciously refreshing coleslaw is filled with bright, juicy vegetables in a light apple cider vinegar dressing with honey and celery seed. It's made with a mix of red and white cabbage (preferably early, green-leafed ones), plus carrots. It's the perfect refreshing addition to any meal!



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon whole celery seeds
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 large carrots, cut into strips
  • 2 cups shredded white cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  2. Add the carrots and all the cabbage. Toss with the dressing and transfer to a serving platter.
