These nachos are filled with chili dog filling, a hot dog served with chili con carne (ground beef in a spicy tomato sauce). Make the meat sauce, add sausage, and spoon it onto corn chips. Top the nachos with plenty of shredded cheese and bake until the cheese melts deliciously. Serve with salsa and sour cream. Nachos are a great appetizer for a crowd. Everyone takes a chip filled with the gooey cheese filling and enjoys.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 450 g of ground beef
  • 2 sausages, cut into 1cm thick pieces.
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 can (220 g) of tomato sauce
  • 1 bag of corn tortilla chips
  • 1 package (280 g) of grated yellow cheddar
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Salsa, for filing
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Heat a medium frying pan over high heat. Add the vegetable oil, then the ground beef, and begin frying and crumbling the meat with a wooden spoon for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then add the sliced ​​sausages and continue frying for another 3 minutes. Add the onion and salt to taste, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and cumin. Cook for another 3-5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to grill mode.

  3. Place corn chips on a baking sheet or casserole. Top with a chili dog. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Grill the cheese under a hot broiler for 2 minutes, until melted and bubbly. Drizzle with sour cream, salsa, and finely chopped green onions.
