This dish, packed with all the flavors of a Caesar salad, is made from start to finish in one pot, making cleanup a breeze. The macaroni is cooked directly in milk, which is then combined with a mixture of mozzarella, cheddar, and cream cheese to create a thick, creamy sauce. Caesar dressing adds a unique flavor, while kale leaves provide a healthy boost of fiber. Serve the Caesar mac 'n' cheese topped with crispy croutons (or croutons) and coarsely grated Parmesan.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • 90 g semi-skimmed mozzarella, grated (about 3/4 cup)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and pasta and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent pasta from sticking.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the pasta is tender and the milk has thickened to the consistency of heavy cream, 4 to 5 minutes. Add the kale and continue to simmer until completely wilted, about 2 minutes.

  3. Reduce heat, add cheddar, mozzarella, cream cheese and 1.5 teaspoons salt and mix until smooth, thick and creamy.
  4. Add the creamy Caesar dressing with Parmesan cheese. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, croutons, and freshly ground black pepper. The mac and cheese will thicken as it cools; thin it with a little hot water, if desired.
