This Mediterranean-style salad, filled with juicy vegetables and crispy croutons, is the perfect appetizer for any meal. It's quick to prepare with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, croutons, pickled peppers, and olives, and a light mayonnaise-based dressing with lemon juice, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning adds a burst of flavor.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Miracle Whip Original Mayonnaise Dressing
  • 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 0.5 tsp dry Italian seasoning
  • 1 package (280 g) of salad mix
  • A quarter of a red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 small pepperoncini peppers or other pickled peppers (optional)
  • 1 small red tomato, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced ​​black olives
  • 0.5 cups large croutons
  • 1 tbsp. l. grated parmesan

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare the dressing:

    Combine olive oil, vinegar, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Parmesan, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and 1-2 cups of water in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Prepare the salad:
